Itinerary: Alaska
We sailed on Star Princess out of Seattle July 12, 2003. We are a
family of three. It met our expectations the whole way. The ship was beautiful
just seemed really big.
We had a mini-suite (D603) on the Dolphin Deck (mid-ship). We were quite
comfortable in the mini-suite.
The shore excursions were terrific; we selected a float plane glacier tour, and
the White Pass railroad. The day at Tracy Arms was spectacular.
Our balcony was a very nice feature that day, we spent the morning including
having breakfast and enjoying the glacier and the scenery in Tracy Arm.
The entertainment we really enjoyed, very excellent (one service stood out
beyond
other cruises we have been on.)
The Personal Choice dining for this itinerary was a nice feature, most of our
shore excursions were a full day activity, so we did not have to rush back to
get to a set
time in the dining room.
Alaska is beautiful and I would recommend the way to see it is through an inside
passage cruise.
