This is a great ship!! very clean and everything looks new. The only
negative thing I can say is the food is just ok. Some meals were
outstanding, but most were just avg. or even a little below avg., but you
can eat anytime you feel like it and if you don't like one meal just go to
the buffet that is open 24hrs.
Our room was great and was always kept clean. We never ran out of towels
and they even gave us beach towels to take with us at the ports.
The ship is very large with something going on all the time. There are two
shows every night and alot of the 14 bars had something going on. We never
had to look for something to do. Most of the time we had to miss something
because so many things were going on.
With so many people on the ship I thought we would spend alot of time
standing in lines, but was very suprised that we hardly ever had to wait
for anything. Getting off the ship at ports was the only time we waited
and that was only 20-30 min.
If you like to party be sure to get a bar hopper card your 1st day. If you
buy a drink from every bar and get your card stamped you get a free
t-shirt.
Drinks are not way over priced. $3 for a beer and $4.5 for a mixed drink.
Soda is $1.25 They offer a all-you-can-drink deal on soda for $25. We
bought into it but never drank enough soda to even reach $25 worth. It is
little hard to get a soda at times and is just faster to drink the free
tea or coffee.
TIPS: Don't pack beach towels...they have them there for you to use
Don't buy the $25 soda deal. It is hard to drink enough soda to reach $25.
If you do buy it just get one for 2 people. You can just share it. Just
get one soda at one bar then go to another bar for the 2nd one.
The pool in the very front of the ship had the fewest people most of the
time.
On formal night if you plan to get pictures taken leave early and try to
go to as many photo shoots as you have time for (there was 7 spots on our
cruise) that way you have alot of pictures to choose from.
The buffet is on the 14 floor and that is were you will eat most of your
meals so try to get a room closer to the top so you don't have to climb so
many stairs. The elevator is always packed. If you do take the elevator
the glass elevator in the middle of the ship seemed to be the easiest to
catch.
Mark your bags with something bright that will make it stick out. There
are a lot of black bags that all look the same when your trying to find
them at the end of your cruise.
