Just returned from my first cruise and must say it is something I’m looking forward to doing again! Thanks to reviews, I was very prepared and had one of the best vacations ever!

We flew from Las Vegas to LAX and was met promptly by a Princess Rep. to take us to the ship. We had read about the long embarkation lines, and were not disappointed, however , we felt considering the number of people they were dealing with, they were working very efficiently.

Our stateroom was pleasant, and roomy. We had booked an outside balcony and were pleased with the extra room, table & chairs...was a great place for breakfast every morning!

Our room steward, Jonathon, was thoughtful, and always available. We had selected personal choice dining and quickly found the Capri Dining room to be our favorite. Almario & Emil were the best! Just the right blend of service. We reserved table 40 every night at 8:00 and were always out in time for the shows we had planned attend.

The Entertainment was awesome! Anyone who misses “DANCE” or “DA BEAT”, misses out on some excellent performances! The show room was very comfortable and every seat was a ‘good’ seat. We’ll never forget the comedian “SARGE”! He had us begging for more!

Because of Hurricanes NORA & OLAF we had to make a change in our scheduled Ports. We went to Cabo San Lucas first rather than last and were able to spend a few more hours there than is usual. It was great! We went on the Historic Pirate Ship Excursion. The snorkeling wasn’t the greatest but we had a good swim and the crew of pirates were entertaining.

Mazatlan was our next port and we had a good day shopping and lunch at a resort. We returned to the ship and were told that the Hurricanes were not going to be a problem so we could travel on to Puerto Vallarta.. This was probably our least favorite port but that’s just a personal observation!

Our “at sea“ days were spent sunning, playing in the pools, and using the Spa . Anyone needing a terrific haircut, needs to book an appointment with Hugo! He’s fantastic!

We were sad to have it all come to an end. It’s nice to be pampered! Our disembarkation was flawless. We were at LAX to catch our flight home with time to spare.

Maybe we’re just easy to please but I didn’t have any complaints. It was the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever been on! We’re already planning our next one!
