Princess Cruise Lines
Cruise: Sea Princess
My wife and I recently cruised
with Princess for the 5th time and we have always had good service and great food, until now. This
is the first time I have ever refused cruise food. The dining room meals were unappetizing and of
poor quality. I refused to eat all but one meal of beef . The food was well below par on quality. It
was suggested that a good meal can be had at the Steakhouse for $8.00 a person. It makes me feel
like Princess is nickel and diming it’s return customers. The crab legs and lobster tails were of
poorer quality than Red Lobster. This is the first time we have cruised with a mini-suite at 1000.00
a day. I feel that at 1000.00 a day that I should not have to pay extra to get a good beef meal.
Princess should offer it’s
suite and mini suite customers vouchers for quality Steakhouse dining.
Every day at breakfast and
lunch it was nigh impossible to get cream for the coffee. The
waiter and server would bring
milk even after 3-4 tries asking to get us cream, half & half. It was definitely not a language
barrier. The dinner staff always provided cream. The staff service an the ship was up to Princess
standards. The cruise staff and ships personnel are always friendly and helpful and we have always
been very pleased to sail with Princess until now.
We sailed on the Ocean
Princess to Alaska last September and all the meals were of excellent quality. What has happened to
the Princess quality control?
