Itinerary: Inside passage
Seattle
We used shuttle express van (10 persons) cost us $74 one way to Grand
Hyatt Hotel from airport , booking by internet. And $ 42 from the Hotel to
Pier 30 another day. For food ,I recommended Pf chang (Chinese restaurant
in West lake shopping mall down town)
Embarkation
Even we used platinum check in , but there were still long lines on the
way to the ship
The Ship
This is mass market ship with two thousand more passenger that buffet
breakfast and lunch almost full at the time .For Dining We choose any time
dining (Pacific moon, vivaldi, the Savoy and Santa fe) that must be booked
early especially during the formal night. The “Main food “ was the same in
all the restaurant but each restaurant may had one or more specialty food.
We bought just one soda voucher (coke ,sprite ) that can be share with my
family. Staff at each dining restaurant were great . The entertainment was
good especially the Broadway and the comedy.
Land Tours and ports
Dog Sledding in Juneau was the best , Tracy arm was wonderful, Victoria is
beautiful, Ketchikan back country by Jet Boat “only saw Eagles” . Skagway
Yukon and White pass by Train was not great.
Disembarkation
We were instructed to disembark at 9.00 am and we wait one hour before our
“colour” were called. We used Taxi from the pier to Best executive inn
Hotel cost about $ 12 including tip . the taxi in Seattle is big enough to
carry 2 adults and 2 children with bags.
Seattle Hotel
Grand Hyatt Hotel
We booked 2 double bed room (not guaranteed) but got 1 King bed , but the
good thing was , they gave us 1 extra bed for free . Best Western
Executive Inn Hotel
We choose the hotel because the location near Space needle . The 2 double
bed room was large enough to accommodate 4 persons. Only We regret that
the Hotel did not had concierge service that the reception officer could
not help us with our air ticket confirmation even We asked him twice.
