Itinerary: Mediterranean Essence

We could not fault this cruise, it was perfect for an informal relaxing break.

If you want to be stiff and starchy this is not for you. Everybody was smartly dressed in the evenings but informality is the idea here.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, the captain and officers were great. Capt Stuart Horne was a friendly and informative captain and made each arrival and departure special with his announcements and choice of music.

The food in all restaurants was excellent, everything was clean and tidy. All staff worked hard. Our cabin was serviced twice a day. It was 7042 on Emerald deck (7) smooth sailing, no bumps felt here.

Itinerary was Palma, Tunis, Civitivecchia (for Rome) Santa Margherita/Portofino, Nice (Monaco) Mahon, then back to Palma. Weather was scorching, everything was bliss.

Entertainments team worked hard and produced top class shows.

Can't wait to go again to do the Spirit itinerary, providing Capt Horne is on board of course.

Well recommended especially for first time cruisers.
