We thought that the cruise was brilliant!! There were very few things on the ship that we could criticize and to be honest most of these were bits and bobs.

The food was excellent. As a picky eater I was worried about wasting away while I was onboard but no chance of that. There really was something for everyone. There was only one night in the Island Restaurant where I struggled to find something I liked and that was on the Chinese night but it didn't matter because we had the option of going to Beachcomber.

I had heard scare stories of hairdryers not being powerful and travel irons not working (as a girl who worships her hair straightners this was a near disaster!!) but it wasn't true. Admittedly using the US voltage everything was very weak but I tried the European socket and my hairdryer was on full power. Phew.

Overall a wonderful trip which I'd do again tomorrow. I just need to convince my husband to go to Rio now in November!!
