Number of Cruises: 2
Cruise Line: Festival/First European
Name of Ship: European Vision
Itinerary: Greek Islands

We had originally booked the cruise because of the age of the ship and the itinerary. The ship was in tremendous condition and had a wonderful layout. The itinerary was wonderful, but the time on the ports was less than great. Our time in Santorini (please take the By Land and Sea excursion) was wonderful. The remaining islands and our stop in Croatia were tight. We were in Athens for 2.5 hours-very tough to see the Parthenon in that time. Their arrival times on the islands were accurate, but the disembarkation was not organized and not efficient.

The crew of the ship was tremendous. We have taken other cruises and we have never had a crew that was as gracious and performed as well.

Another issue we arrived at was the percentage of English Speaking passengers. We searched the internet for information on this prior to booking our cruise and never found the info. There were 27 Americans and 34 British people out of the 1000+ on board. The crew spoke English, but it made it very difficult to meet people and also follow in games, shows, etc as English was defintely no the primary language.

For service-great cruise line. For ports of call and for an American passenger, not recommended!

Thanks!
