Number of Cruises: 20+
Cruise Line: Festival / First European
Name of Ship: European Vision
Itinerary: Eastern Mediterranean

The European Vision is a great ship (I would rate 4*), the so called Suites are what e.g. RCI sells as normal "Balcony stateroom", however, occupying a "Suite" you have the opportunity to dine at the smaller Dining room, where the service and food is excellent. The overall service differs by person - some employees are very keen to give their best some just don't care.

The entertainment is okay with a production type show every night. It's not top notch but imagine setting up a daily show (plus some pool dances and such stuff) with only 10 people in the "entertainment team".

The itinerary itself is absolutely perfect - just don't take any of Festivals excursions, they are a pure rip off and you will never get what they tell you, so its better to get a guidebook and a taxi (which is by far more interesting and much less expensive).

The overall comment: Recommendable if you have an understanding that European Cruise lines offer other things than American cruise lines.

Ship: 4*
Cabin (Suite): 5*
Food & Dining Room Svc: 5*
Service overall: between 0* and 5*
Excursions: 0*
Itinerary: 4*

Cost: quite very inexpensive if you don't have to travel in peak season, excellent value for money
