Cruise Line: Festival/First European
Ship: European Stars
Itinerary: Western Mediterranean

This cruise has some great stops but beware. They mostly stop at what appears to be shipping ports. The excursions were not very good but you had to take them because there was no place to walk from where the ship was docked. We took 8 excursions and everyone was grouped with another language - frustrating to the excursions directors because they didn't have time to cover everything in two languages, and frustrating the those on the excursion because we didn't get a good tour. The ship is first class and is trying to be a first class cruise line but just isn't there yet. Be prepared for announcements in up to 12 languages. We were one of 8 Americans on board, so expect to be the minority if you're coming from the USA. Not many staff of the staff spoke fluent English. Also be prepared to pay for everything on the cruise - nothing except the food is free and room service carries a $2 service charge. The ship again is beautiful and brand new but it has some baggage.
