Caribé

Originally built in 1948 as the Stockholm for Svenska Amerika Linjen, this ship made history when it rammed and sank the Italian liner Andrea Doria in 1956. The vessel was completely rebuilt in 1994 - only the hull itself is a leftover from her previous incarnations. Superstructure, engines, cabins, public spaces etc. were all newly added. Caribé operates one-week Western Caribbean cruises from Cuba year-round, starting in December, 2002.

You may try different sports on board, but you can also decide to lounge or sun bathe at leisure on deckchairs around the pool, stop in the reading room, follow enthralling conferences or pamper yourself in the beauty centre.

In the evening,try the casino entertainment, or watch a beautiful show in Le Maschere theatre, and dance the night away in the disco.
