All I can say is this was brilliant! A holiday of a lifetime! The ship was perfect in every way, surprisingly our cabin was 259 but our children had the cabin next door, 257 (read other review for cabin info!) The cabins were comfortable and spacious, but who needed to be in the cabins anyway, there was always something to do!

It isn't a very child friendly cruise so not one to advise if you want a family cruise but our kids were with their cousins and altogether there were 8 of them. we never saw the kids, they made a lot of friends and spent a lot of time doing some of the organised kids activities onboard.

The food was excellent, yes you did have to sit at the same table 3 times a day if you wanted to eat in the Franconia all 3 meals, however we usually ate breakfast and lunch in the lido as the food was still brilliant in there and there was more variety.

We shall definitely be travelling again with Cunard and maybe going on the QE2 in the very near future to the caribbean. Also hope to go on QM2 when it appears in Jan 2004??? I would definitely recommend Cunard to anyone for that ultimate luxury holiday.
