Age: 56
Occupation: Administrative Law Judge
Number of Cruises: 4
Cruise Line: Celebrity
Name of Ship: Summit
Sailing Date: March 24th, 2003
Itinerary: Western Caribbean

Good cruise experience; the Summit is a very nice ship and well run. The cabins are kept spotless by a very good housekeeping crew. Service is also very good at meals. My biggest complaint is that the alternative dinner choices are inadequate; the buffet closes at dinner. The quality of the food is very good but not excellent; the entrees at the breakfast and lunch buffets are rather limited. The ports of call were interesting and the shore excursions were good. The captain of the ship remained hidden from view and there were no public address announcements at all which made the cruise more impersonal than it should have been. Celebrity seems to be for the older traveler who likes to dress up for dinner and likes schedules which are rigidly adhered to. I would like a more flexible cruise experience than it offered by this cruise line.
