Michael Sherman
Age: 38 This is my first and last time on Millennium. The atmosphere is really boring and children not friendly. Everything is done in favor of old people that are the majority on the ship. They have activities for children called Fun Program, but the only purpose of this is to take children out of public areas. There are no entertainments for families; everything is done in the quite non-disturbing manner not to disturb the old majority. My main concern is about a pool. The main pool was allowed to use for children for first 5 days, but because of complaints from old majority on ‘splashing’ in the pool, on the 6th day of sailing, Hotel Manager put advertisement that the Main Pool is for 18 years old and higher only. They also disallowed to use 2 out of 4 Jacuzzis for everyone younger that 18. When I spoke with Hotel Manager (Mr. George Libertatos), he said that he closed the Main Pool for people younger than 18 because of Celebrity Head Office rule. But Celebrity Head office told me that children could use Main pool if they are with parents, while Mr. Libertatos put 2 security guards in order not to let ANY children (before 18!!!) with or without parents in the Main Pool. He said they always do that during Spring Brake in order not to disturb adults. He also said that there is
no way for me to talk to captain, because captain does not talk to guests. Ask a Question About Celebrity Cruise Lines
